Following an Honours Degree in Law from Newcastle upon Tyne University, Martin completed his Solicitor's training with a firm in Lichfield and qualified in 1975.

 

With Kevin Garner Martin founded the firm of Garner Canning in 1987 at its Castle Bromwich office.  Subsequently the firm has expanded considerably, but Martin remains the Supervising Partner at Castle Bromwich.  He specialises in Family Law matters but also undertakes property work and commercial work.
